This is the second post for my third task. I will give you an explanation about Slack. In the first task I already made an account in this app, now is the time to join a team in Slack!
Before that, I'll give you a short story about slack. Launched in August 2013 by co-founders Stewart Butterfield, Eric Costello, Cal Henderson and Serguei Mourachov, Slack is a team communication tool that provides real-time messaging, archiving and search capabilities. Slack offers private groups, direct messaging and persistent chat rooms organized by topic. All content is searchable from one search box. Slack provides apps for Mac, iOS, Android and Windows, a Web version, and an unofficial client for Linux. Well, slack ini semacam group chat tapi lebih profesional fiturnya, fit for business. Baiklah, langsung aja, this is the steps how to join a team in Slack. Here we go ~
1. Open www.slack.com, you can click download desktop app to installing the Slack app on your computer.
2. The team already made by my partner, so I can directly join the team. What I need is click Join Team from the invitation in my email,
3. After click the Join Team, we must fill the information box and the password box,
4. We'll be directing to the slack app and viola we join the team!
5. Finish. After we become the member of the team we can invite other people by email to join the Team too ^^
